Humble Beginnings 🌱

Hello Friends!

Sorry for the delay in our monthly newsletter.

Recently my Grandma went to be with Jesus and what a legacy she has left ❤️

I'm so grateful for the days spent on the farm with her as a little girl and the opportunity to work shoulder to shoulder on my pie baking journey.

This week while I was taking a step back in some areas, other areas were opened for great conversations. One conversation being about humble beginnings.

I think a large portion of our community would love to have the family dynamic be more home based then working for Mr Rich. That being said, I think that we also dismiss those humble beginnings.

The beginnings of something that can be so beautiful often times start small. We wonder if it's going to amount to anything. If our efforts are worth the risk, the time and the trials that often accompany the journey.

We have to remind ourselves that it's a process. Gods picture will always be bigger than what we can see and dream. But that small view shouldn't stop us from enjoying the steps that need to be taken.

This is shown to us in the parable of the mustard seed in Luke 13:18-19.

Then Jesus asked, “What is the kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it to? It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds perched in its branches.”

All seeds that God gives us have the potential to grow and become trees, and to bring fruit into our lives and the lives of others.

Do not dismiss humble beginnings.

We can choose to turn right instead of turning left and miss a blessing God has set up for us.

We have a big God and we can dream big beautiful dreams. We can rejoice when He gives us seeds to plant and do has He has called us to day by day, remembering to leave the results to Him. He will provide the increase, as long as we are humble and thankful

"What are you, mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel, you will become level ground. Then he will bring out the capstone to shouts of ‘God bless it! God bless it!'” (Zechariah 4:7)

I'd love to hear from you ❤️

What are your humble beginnings right now?

Julie
