The kids and I just finished up VBS week. It started out HOT 🥵 and then the last few days it was much cooler, in the 70s!

While we were enjoying the cooler weather over the weekend we saw sooo many Monarch butterflies. We even found a caterpillar on the milkweed in the patch by our house.

That reminded me of the Butterfly Course I made two years ago. It's part one of the BFF Jr. Garden School . I had planned to finish the rest of the courses that summer , but it didn't happen. I have bumped it up to work on ASAP.

What is the BFF Jr. Garden School Butterfly Course?

This FREE course consist of learning about butterflies and how they all help the garden (and are helped by the garden).

As a homeschool mom of seven, I really tried to add activities for different age groups so that everyone could enjoy learning together.

The lessons are downloadable files that can be used for your family as many times as you like. These would also be great additions to classroom studies, or a fun family project before school starts back up.

At the end of each unit I have a list of resources and additional information I found interesting. I will also have a coupon code to use on our website if you would like to purchase additional items to complete the units (this is optional, as I have included plenty of activities within each unit).

This unit has 40+ pages of information, activities and additional learning resources.
